Pat Nabong is a Filipina freelance multimedia journalist who is finishing her Master's Degree in Journalism, specializing in social justice and investigative reporting, at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. As part of the program, she is reporting as a multimedia journalist for Medill Reports. She has reported on art, social justice issues and Native Americans in the USA.
Prior to coming to Medill, she worked as a stringer for Rappler, Union of Catholic Asian News and ABS-CBN News online. She documented a wide range of issues from protests on the streets of Manila to the displaced indigenous people in Mindanao.
She graduated Summa Cum Laude as the batch valedictorian of the class of 2015, with a degree in Film from the College of Mass Communication of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. She is an associate member of the Photojournalists' Center of the Philippines and the Tokwa Collective.
